Ever since I have been an owner of firearms I have struggled with the issue of where to put my handgun inside my vehicle. I have tried a variety of different methods. I have put them under the seat, in my center console, in the glove box, in the back seat, and on the dashboard. I have even tried purchasing different seat covers that had pouches in them to hold my firearms. But nothing has worked near as good compared to this vehicle handgun mount.
The Vehicle Handgun Mount places your firearm under the steering column and keeps it securely in place as you are driving around and prevents the firearm from getting damaged and dinged up from being under the seat or some other location where it is in risk of getting damaged. The vehicle handgun mount uses a strap that mounts directly under the steering column and goes up under the steering wheel. For vehicles that do not have a steering column like seen in the picture to the right they make a vehicle handgun mount adapter that uses another strap that goes all the around the steering column itself.
